Character Animation Series - DI2093 Head Modeling Addendum Walkthrough

This lesson is designed to complete the missing section in the Head Modeling DVD.
The missing section is at 20 minutes-15 seconds in or just before the start of chapter 19.
A streaming video version of this is available here.

To add control over the geometry flow in the face, more detail is needed in the brow region,
so more polygons should be added to the brow area.
To do that, select the row of polygons along his brow line.  (See Image 01)

After selecting the polygons, perform a "BandSaw" subdivision operation to create the new ring of polygons.
To select "BandSaw" go to the Construct menu. It is under the "Subdivide" tools.
I have assigned the keyboard shortcut "F6" to my "BandSaw" tool.

In the "BandSaw" dialog box, leave the edge selector on "Auto" with "Enable Divide" enabled.
Click "OK"

Now the geometry we need has been created.
Lets get ready to tweak some points.
Select the polygons that make up the face. (Image 04)

Hit the "+" key to hide unselected polygons and continue to manipulate the points.
